New Landscapes Catalyst Grant

In January 2023, Bureau 555 was awarded a follow-on grant under the New Landscapes Catalyst Grant Scheme, administered by UAL FTTI and supported by the British Council. This grant was specifically allocated to advance the digital perceptions of textiles. Bureau 555 has proactively undertaken various collaborative initiatives, delivered diverse lectures, facilitated workshops, and participated in mentorship programs—all aligned with our overarching objective of advancing the digital craft within our domain.

Heritage Textile Archive & Digital Craftsmanship

Digital archiving of handmade heritage textiles builds a bridge for future generations to connect with and research their past. Bureau 555 with local artisanal communities to preserve their craft. Bureau 555 in collaboration with Brihatta Art Foundation is committed to elevating the craftsmanship of Bangladesh's heritage craft industry.
